Slapshock
Slapshock was formed by five musicians on February 1997 in University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. They started as a rap-metal group which later developed to a more diverse rock band. Most of the early gigs were college sponsored events, fairs and also some club gigs like Club Dredd and Mayric’s which are the pioneer rock clubs in Manila. The band was signed in 1998, when rap-metal was a hit in the U.S as well as in the Philippines. Slapshock pioneered that genre here, delivering high intensity performances always giving their audiences not just entertainment but an experience worth remembering.

Greyhoundz
Greyhoundz is a heavy metal/experimental rock band formed in the late 90's who gained international recognition and is currently based in Manila, Philippines.

Greyhoundz was formed in 1997 by cousins Niño and Audie Avenido who at first just wanting to join a local battle of the bands contest together with other bandmates that includes Allen Cudal. The contest was canceled so they opted to audition at the now defunct Club DREDD that was based in Manila. They later recruited Reg Rubio, who was from another band that also played at Club Dredd. They soon recruited TJ Brillantes. Unfortunately on the 6th of May 2004, a tragic event happened when original member, Allen Cudal (also one of their guitarists) died from a car accident. Many followers of the band were shocked during the sudden passing of the band member. 2004 Pulp SummerSlam, was the last time that fans were able to watch the band in their complete line up. But despite the tragic event, as a sign of respect for their late band mate, the group now performs as a 4 piece band rather than hiring a new member.

Kjwan
KJWAN burst onto the Philippine music scene in 2003, when the local rock music scene had forgotten who it was originally and people were almost afraid to listen to anything new. Still, they came down hard, raw, in your face, with the release of their self titled debut album (in 2004) and coined the now-familiar catchphrase, “Bastusan na!” Their hit song, “Daliri,” became an anthem to a new generation of rock listeners and being true to your self became the order of the day.

Even the very word, Kjwan, seemed to flamboyantly step in your way and hounded you so that you would never forget the name, the band and the sound.

Mayonnaise
Mayonnaise is a 4-piece (3 males and 1 female) Filipino alternative rock/pop-punk band. They became famous after winning the prestigious Red Horse Muziklaban in 2004. The band chose its name in honor of the song "Mayonaise" by Smashing Pumpkins.

Monty is the hefty frontman of the band and is definitely a large person so Mayonnaise does get recognized and remembered because of this not-quite-tiny detail. But after the fact lies what the audience take home with them after watching Mayonnaise perform - guitar-driven tunes with ultra-catchy hooks and compelling lyrics. Radio listeners seem to agree, as airplay of their first single The Only Thing, and the current, Eddie Song, are steadily rising. And the songs are what the band attributes to winning 2004's Red Horse Muziklaban.

Hardboiledeggz
Hardboiledeggz is a screamo/grunge band that won the 2006 Muziklaban.

Hardboiledeggz take their music by heart. Aside from that they're just four normal home-grown boys who lead normal lives under the zipcode 02600. These are some of the ventures they have endured so far.

Kapatid
Kapatid is fronted by the iconic Karl Roy (Advent Call and P.O.T.), he is also brother of Kevin Roy of Razorback. The band was originally made up of some of the industry's heavyweights: Nathan Azarcon (Bamboo) on bass, J-Hoon Balbuena (Kjwan) on drums, Ira Cruz (Passage and Bamboo) on rhythm guitars and the late Chico Molina on lead guitars. The band went on to release their first self-titled LP with hits songs "Prayer", "Pagbabalik ng Kwago" , "Visions" among others, in 2003 to great acclaim.

Through the years Kapatid has successfully weathered a seemingly never-ending string of trials. From the ever-evolving lineup to the untimely death of a member, the band has managed to stay on the forefront of the industry, amassing a sizeable number of "diehard" fans.

Today, Kapatid is, more than ever, a musical force to be reckoned with. Joining the inimitable Karl Roy is veteran musician and bassist Philippe Arriola, (Weedd) causing the group to reach a new level of maturity balanced perfectly by gifted young bloods guitarist Anjones Elemos and drummer Paolo Rosal.

Sunflower Day Camp
The band emerged from a previous endeavor amply labeled as "Government Warning". The said band claimed its birth from an inter-collegiate band competition held a couple of years back. Under the banner of Government Warning, the group was able to step into the pedestal of Philippine music as it was at the time.

Since then a major shift in the musical expression of the group yielded the "Sunflower Day Camp". The sound being rendered by the group basically revolves around the punk ska genre. The fun and festive music of the band is then coupled by a tremendously exciting and eccentric stage performance by each member.
